John Willis, Class of 1971 wins Pride of Britain Award

John’s hard work is recognised with a key national award.

We are delighted to share that alumnus John Willis (Class of 1971), Founder and Chief Ambassador of charity Power2Inspire, has been recognised with the ITV Regional Fundraiser Pride of Britain Award.

John was born without fully formed arms or legs; as a child, he was often excluded from activities, and he has used this as the motivation for Power2Inspire, which he founded in September 2013.

The charity aims to provide inclusive sporting opportunities for all, regardless of gender, faith, age, ability, disability, or ethnicity, so that no one is ‘left on the bench’.

Please join us in wishing John many congratulations on his fundraising achievements and Pride of Britain Award.
