Summer came late this year and Saturday 18th September proved to be a wonderfully warm and sunny day. With more guests than ever we had moved the venue from the pavilion in Gallery Road to the new dining hall at school. After a glass of prosecco, we moved inside for a fabulous meal prepared by our new chef and his team. The room resounded to the noise of happy chatter and much laughter.

Perhaps the experience of those who came is best described by Chris Smith

Where to start . . .  First, thank you, and all involved in organising the lunch on Saturday, very much. I can’t remember enjoying a lunch quite so much in a long time. The weather was glorious and remained so for the duration. The catering was superb. The company was convivial. I don’t remember meeting Geoff before, but he and I had a number of interests in common. Peter & Carole Cutcliffe are always a joy to spend time with and Nigel I don’t remember meeting before but again very interesting. All in all, a most enjoyable experience.
I look forward to the next Dulwich Prep Alumni event.
