Michael Shrimpton Passes Away at 96

29 Jan 2024

It is with much sadness we share that Michael Shrimpton passed away last Friday 19 January, at the age of 96. He died peacefully in his sleep with his wife of nearly 68 years beside him.

He had four children, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He enjoyed life to the full and is remembered for his great sense of humour.

He was enormously proud of his connection with Dulwich Prep London / Dulwich College Preparatory School and enjoyed his visits to Betws y Coed and the gatherings at the school. He especially enjoyed coming into the school during Remembrance Week to talk to the boys about life at school during the war.
