Those who remember Tim Ellison-Nash (1952) will be sad to learn that he passed away in January. His funeral will take place at St Mildred’s Church, Tenterden, Friday, 18 February 2022 at 2.00pm. The notice in The Times gave the email address timofpumpcourt@gmail.com for anyone wishing to contact the family.

Tim was the son of Denis Ellison-Nash, Dean of St Bart’s Medical School, when John Leakey asked him to join the Board of Governors of the newly formed Dulwich College Preparatory School Trust in 1957. When Lord Penney became President, Denis Ellison-Nash took over as Chair of the Governors.

Tim's children Matthew (1980) and Oliver (1984) both attended the school. Matthew was tragically killed in a flying accident in 1986. His wife, Gael, taught in the Nursery until the family relocated to Kent, where she joined the staff of DCPS in Cranbrook. Nash House at Dulwich Prep Cranbrook is named in honour of Tim’s father.
